Vtg 1880s Mens Printed VELVET FANCY VEST /WAISTCOAT Chest 42"

This fabulous Mens VEST or WAISTCOAT dates to about 1880, if not earlier and is in great wearable condition!  The front is a printed velvet fabric with acorns & leaves, it is double breasted with fancy Victorian buttons and has two pockets. The back is made from a black sateen type cotton, with a half belt and buckle back. The lining is a basic ecru color and has several  stains or marks that do NOT affect the beauty or. the wear of this piece, as it is the inside. Overall, a beautiful piece of fancy Victorian Menswear that is still solid and totally wearable today.
