Victorian GUN METAL Powder box/ pill box/ patch box

A sweet Victorian powder box with the original poof, which can be removed if you want to use this for pills or rings, or??? It is made of gun metal, gray/black in color, and has the original beveled mirror in the cover. This dates to about 1880's or 1890's, when guns from the Civil War were melted down and used for jewelry and trinkets. Size is 1 5/8" diameter.
